My wife and I grew up playing sports and developed a fondness for our jersey numbers over the years. My wife’s number was always #10 and mine was always #27. While dating we started catching ourselves looking at the clock at exactly 10:27 and eventually those two numbers grew to have so much meaning to the both of us that I actually proposed to my wife on October 27th (10/27). In the years to follow these numbers would show up in our lives during times of worry or stress. We began to see each occurrence of the numbers 10-27 together as a sign of God’s presence in our lives. Over the years it has become our own secret language between us and God that has provided comfort in some of our toughest times!
